Frequently Asked Questions

You can enjoy your session in our warm and cozy terrace loft at Neo Psihiko.

If you prefer the comfort of your own house, there’s the option of an  In-Home session that allows you to fully relax in your own place whithout having to drive before or after your treatment.

Finally, there’s the option for massage sessions at your workplace, yacht, or event.

You can either call me (if I don’t answer, I’m probably at a session) or leave a message and I will get back to you asap!

I like to scedule at least 3-4 days ahead, but always try to keep a couple of spots for last minute appointments, so you can give it a try 🙂

The best thing to do is to start by thinking what is primarily that you are looking to get from the experience.

Do you want a treatment to reduce stress and anxiety, or are you suffering from tight and painful muscles? Maybe you have had a recent injury or just want to take some time for yourself.

For our first session I would suggest we have a quick chat prior to our tratment so I can better understand your needs and help you chose the best modality for you.

Our sessions can be as brief as 15′ for a chair massage, and can reach 120′ for a Τhai or Holistic treatment.

In general, 60′ will be sufficient time for a therapeutic treatment, whereas for a Holistic or a Thai massage I recomend we go for at least 90′ ( a 60′ session still available for those modalities as well)

Accupuncture takes between 45′ and 60′ where chair massage between 15′ and 30′.

Again, this is something that we’ll decide based specifically upon your unique needs. (always taking under consideration the effectiveness of our treatment, your precious time and the cost!)

The most important thing to do before your session is to relax! Arriving 10-15 minutes earlier will give you plenty of time to go to the restroom, have a glass of water or a sip of herbal tea and prepare for your treatment.

Remember to drink plenty of water or herbal tea and avoid coffee and alcohol. It’s preferable not to eat for at least 1 hour prior to the treatment and in general not to have a full stomach!

Take a hot shower. It will help your muscles relax while preparing your skin to better receive the oil.

If possible, wear comfortable clothes and shoes. It will help you feel more relaxed before the session and will not give you a hard time putting them on afterwards ( when you might be a little oily!)

Before we beggin, we’ll have a quick chat so we can tailor the session on your needs!

It is very important to let me know about any discomfort you may feel at the moment, or other chronic conditions or past injuries as well as any allergies to oils. Even if it seems irrelevant to you, I want to hear it 🙂

You will have plenty of time to undress down to the level of your comfort (for oil massage sessions). You remain fully covered during the whole treatment, uncovering each time only the part of your body we’ll be working on (e.g your leg, back, and so on).

Feel free to let me know how  the pressure feels and if you want to adjust it, if the room is too cold or hot, whether you would like more or less lighting and if you like to listen to music or you’d rather turn it off during our session.

Talking or remaining silent during the treatment is completely up to you, I enjoy both 🙂

An open communication and honest feedback will help us create a better experience for you and establish a sincere therapeutic relationship!

Now that your treatment is over and you are enjoying that delicious hot cup of tea, is the best time to schedule for your next appointment. But when should that be?

Well, the frequency of each treatment depends on what you want to achieve from it. For instance, I have clients who like to keep their body “in-tune” with weekly or twice a month treatments, while others would leave four to six weeks between their visits.

A rule of thumb for a first timer would be to try not to leave more than 4-6 weeks before the next treatment, while someone with chronic pain or stress related issues , no more than 2 weeks.

Really it comes down to your individual physical and emotional needs, your stress and pain level, but also your free time and budget.

There are times when getting a massage is not advised.

Anytime you have fever, cold/flu, inflamation due to injury or contagious skin conditions. Also if you have recently been involved in an accident, feel nauseated or have alcohol in your system.

Pregnant women should rather avoid treatments during the first 3 months.

Since you and your health condition are unique, feel free to contact me, and you’ll get my honest feedback 🙂

About Me

My passion for people’s holistic wellbeing and search for the best place to immerse myself in the art of Massage therapy, led me to Thailand’s most prestigious schools TMC, Sunshine Massage School and TTC Spa. Responding to my clients’ needs for more rounded sessions I went on to study Acupuncture with Chris Norris and obtain a Certificate in Coaching from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as well as one in Herbalism by the University of Michigan.

And while my studies in the field of wellbeing have made me fully capable of spherical approaches to each case, it is my day to day experience for more than 9 years with people of all ages and difficulties that have given me the confidence to say
